We need YOU to VOLUNTEER!

Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community. YWCA of the Sauk Valley has an array of opportunities for you to become involved as much or as little as your schedule allows – recurring opportunities, special events, program support and more. We would love your help supporting the women and families we serve.

Ways to Volunteer

  • Plan YWCA Fundraisers

    YWCA hosts fundraisers and events throughout the year. Join an event committee to help plan.

  • Direct Service

    Work directly with survivors by staffing our shelter and providing on call services.

  • West End Moxie

    Assist with personal shopping, sorting donations, and working our retail thrift shop.

  • Join Our Board

    Join our Board of Directors to help guide the YWCA in pursuit of our mission.

Additional Membership Information

  • A one-year YWCA Sauk Valley membership is required to receive special discounts on room rentals and events.

  • YWCA membership fees are non-refundable.

  • Membership dues alone are not a fee for service.

  • The YWCA reserves the right to revoke the membership of or deny membership to anyone whose conduct, behavior or language is inconsistent with the principles of the YWCA Mission.
